"Something Big Enough to Make a Shadow" HPU Dance Fall 2020

"Something Big Enough to Make a Shadow" is a student choreographed project for the Dance Department here at High Point University. Alex Griswold (then a junior) had asked me to shoot and edit this project. I had never shot or edited dance together before! What a fun challenge and opportunity it was! I gathered 6 other people as my crew, collaborated with the lighting program, brought in a dolly and had ourselves a blast!

 

Side-note: I'm not completely satisfied with how the edit turned out, but it's a great first start! I'll likely be shooting more performances or re-doing this particular edit in the future!
